3-6 PQE Real Estate Finance Senior Associate

Our client, a leading international law firm with a top-tier Real Estate Finance practice, is seeking a talented Mid-Level Associate to join their growing team in London. The group is known for its strong lender-side offering, acting for major clearing banks, debt funds and asset managers on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border transactions.

The Role

As a Mid-Level Associate, you will work closely with senior lawyers and partners on a broad range of complex real estate finance transactions. You’ll be involved throughout the deal lifecycle—structuring, negotiating and managing transactions across a diverse client base, while building technical expertise and commercial judgment.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on the full spectrum of real estate finance matters, including investment and development financing.
• Support the drafting, negotiation and review of key transaction documents.
• Assist in structuring deals and navigating legal and commercial complexities.
• Work collaboratively across teams to ensure smooth transaction management and delivery.
• Communicate with clients throughout the transaction process, providing practical, commercially focused advice.
• Contribute to internal and external knowledge sharing and client development initiatives.

Requirements

• England & Wales qualified with 3-6 PQE in real estate finance.
• Excellent academic background and demonstrable legal expertise.
• Skilled in drafting and negotiation, with exceptional attention to detail.
• Commercially astute with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident working within collaborative, cross-border teams in high-pressure environments.
