The role
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Activity Operations and Impact Co-ordinator to join our new Activity Operations and Project Management team, to manage and co-ordinate our programmes, projects, and initiatives. This team is integral to all of UKGBC’s activities and this role is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to gain experience across the breadth of UKGBC’s impact areas and topics, as well as developing skills in project management.
This role is ideal for an individual at an early career, or career change, stage with a keen eye for organisation and project management, seeking to diversify their skillset and widen their experiences. The position offers the opportunity to rapidly develop and enhance skills in a range of areas, including project management, and coordinating conferences and events.
Key responsibilities
- Supports the co-leads of activity operations to ensure that good and consistent governance, management, and processes are taking place across UKGBC workstreams / activities to identify and mitigate risks that may prevent work being delivered on time and on budget
- Plan, manage, and coordinate projects and activities, especially through the use of UKGBC’s unique impact process
- Proactively maintains good, high-level understanding of all activities across UKGBC and how we deliver impact against our strategy
- Engage in regular organisational wide meetings related to the UKGBC culture, operations, projects and workstreams
- Use Salesforce to record and collate information on activities, outputs, and impact
- Support the co-ordination of impact reporting, quarterly and annually
- Administrative tasks e.g. arranging meetings, speaker liaison, setting up zoom or teams sessions, note-taking, drafting slides, recording stakeholder engagement, preparing website content, drafting distribution lists and email content.
- Engagement with members and other stakeholders (including learning and leadership cohorts) via email, online, and in-person.
- Take accountability for your own contribution towards your personal and professional development; including regular 1-1s, objective setting, performance and development conversations; and soliciting and providing feedback, including for those outside your core work area and upward for managers.
- Engage in regular organisational wide meetings related to the UKGBC culture and operations and / or other projects and workstreams

This is a fixed-term contract until 31st March 2027, to align with programme cycles.
