An established and progressive law firm is looking for an experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer to join its expanding property team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload of rural and agricultural property matters while engaging with other departments and contributing to the continued success of the firm.
The salary is from £40,000 (dependent on experience), and is a full time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the sale and purchase of agricultural land and farms, including auction and private treaty transactions
- Drafting and advising on deeds of easement, overage agreements, and related documents
- Providing non-contentious advice on agricultural tenancy matters
- Collaborating with colleagues in private client, commercial property, and company commercial teams
- Participating in networking events and supporting wider business development initiatives
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2 years’ PQE with strong transactional property experience
- Knowledge of agricultural property law is preferred but not essential
- Commercially aware with a client-focused mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, collaborative, and innovative team player
