The Salvation Army provides support and emergency accommodation for homeless adults within the Glasgow Area. We are looking to recruit a highly motivated Assistant Support Worker to join our team in Huntershill Court Lifehouse comprising of 14 flats.
Key Responsibilities:
As Assistant Support Worker you will work with our Support Workers to empower individuals to move on and break the cycle of homelessness. You will also complete day to day activities including administration tasks and reception duties to support the successful operation of the Lifehouse. For this Assistant level role, direct experience of working with homeless people is not essential. However, you will need to demonstrate to us that you have the understanding, willingness and motivation to engage with our homeless clients.
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:
