Associate, Accounts Receivable

Please note that this is a 6 months Fixed Term Contract, however our firm is on an exciting growth path and there is appetite for a permanent conversion at the end this contract. Our working hours are Mon-Friday 9am to 6pm with 1 hour lunch break with 3 days in the office.

The Team

Joining the EMEA finance team, the core team is based in London, but this role will be based in Manchester, supporting offices across the UK, Europe, Central Asia, the Middle East, and the Cayman Islands as part of a shared service function. The Accounts Receivable team is primarily responsible for the efficient management and administration of all client invoicing requirements. The services provided are integral to the operation of the EMEA business, and the team’s aim is to provide the highest quality service to our clients (both internal and external). This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, contributing to the team's goals and your professional growth within the organization.

How You Will Contribute

• Setting up Client project codes for all A&M EMEA entities.
• Raising client invoices for all A&M Entities across EMEA.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely creation and distribution of invoices to the project team, for them to send to the client.
• Posting Invoice WIP allocations.
• Investigating billing queries from the business.
• Assisting with pulling Audit samples request/queries.
• Conducting month-end close checks, including Invoice log reconciliation to invoice allocation for the month in Agresso.
• Managing temporary code extensions and Client code administration.
• Handling WIP write-offs.
• Adding projects to the close project list.
• Maintaining an Excel AR workbook recording invoices raised.

Qualifications

• Good levels of accuracy with strong organizational skills.
• A natural team player who can interact easily with colleagues and has effective communication skills.
• An adaptive learner able to work as part of a team independently.
• Good understanding of financial regulations related to billing and collections.
• Some prior experience of billing experience.
• Demonstrable ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a demanding environment.
• Agresso/SAP experience would be advantageous.
