The Role
Are you a Bid Manager with experience in fast-paced bidding across multiple sectors and an ambitious outlook?
You’d be joining our team of experienced, collegiate Bid Managers to play a pivotal role in delivering high quality, client facing tender responses and documents.
Reporting to the Head of Specialty Bids, you will be leading RFP, Bid and Tender processes creating winning documentation which supports the client growth and retention aspirations of our business.
You will need to be confident in running kick off meetings, challenging stakeholders appropriately and critiquing content that comes back to you. You’ll need expert PPT and word skills and have the ability to write client-facing bid content.
What you'll do
- Run key bid opportunities from beginning to end
- Challenge stakeholders on concepts and content
- Craft and review all aspects of bids ensuring that all aspects are included in the final proposal to the client and their questions have been fully answered
- Follow the bid process from qualification through to presentation
- Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
- Work with the business and other functions to share information, promote the adoption of best practices, identify risks and opportunities and deliver business growth
- Research potential opportunities/ensure they understand the client’s needs and can support qualification discussions
- Work with your team members to plan the most appropriate solutions for the client’s demands and needs
- Attend feedback interviews so that feedback is incorporated in any resubmission
Who we’re looking for
- Expertise in crafting high-impact RFPs by writing persuasive, client-centric content and collaborating with the Bid Design Team to develop a compelling visual identity
- A real understanding of key business metrics, operational risk and the ability to analyse our clients’ businesses
- The ability to be subject matter agnostic when delivering RFP responses but having the ability to dig into the client and their sector
- The ability to work at speed and with others to achieve tight deadlines
- An understanding of cultural variations when working internationally
- Ability to build effective relationships with senior managers and other key stakeholders
