We are currently seeking an experienced Business Architect to support a high-impact retail transformation programme based in Doncaster. This role is fully onsite and falls inside IR35. You will serve as a strategic partner between business and technology teams, driving capability-led design and modernisation across business domains.

About The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Business Architect to support a high-impact retail transformation programme based in Doncaster. This role is fully onsite and falls inside IR35. You will serve as a strategic partner between business and technology teams, driving capability-led design and modernisation across business domains.
The Role
- Lead business capability modelling and end-to-end process mapping across multiple retail domains
- Act as the critical bridge between functional technology and business teams
- Define future-state business processes aligned with strategic transformation goals
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles to shape scalable business domains and models
- Collaborate with Solution and Enterprise Architects to ensure technology alignment
- Support decision-making processes by facilitating workshops, mapping tools (BPMN), and business impact assessments
- Identify legacy constraints and propose modern practices for Made-to-Order (MTO) and omni-channel retail flows
- Proven experience as a Business Architect in large-scale retail transformation projects
- Strong knowledge of business capability mapping, process modelling, and BPMN
- Demonstrated experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD) in enterprise settings
- Deep understanding of MTO (Made to Order) business models
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Experience bridging business operations and technical delivery functions
- Highly analytical mindset with strong business acumen
- Confident facilitator and communicator at all levels of an organisation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, transformation-driven environment
- Immediate or short notice availability preferred
