The Role of the Business Development Representative:

  • Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating new business appointments for the more senior members of the team who will run the rest of the sales cycle
  • The role is well supported and you will receive lots of direction, but you will need to still think creatively, and roll up your sleeves to generate appointments, conduct outreach, and qualify potential prospects and their needs.
  • There is also an element of researching and nurturing prospects, attending in person events alongside the sales manager and colleagues, and building your own brand/reputation.
  • The role is predominantly an outbound new business position, and you will receive both cold and warm leads, at global companies with an international workforce.


What we’re looking for:

  • 6 - 24 months’ experience in sales, recruitment, events, or something similar
  • Or, a smart and driven graduate who’s serious about starting a sales career
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Resilience - you’re unfazed by a “no” and excited by a “maybe”
  • Curiosity - you ask great questions and genuinely seek to understand a clients needs, to help solve their problems
  • Confidence without ego,  you know your worth but stay grounded
  • A real interest in startups, B2B sales, AI Technology and long-term career growth
  • Experience with maintaining a CRM and other sales tools are preferred but not essential
