Are you an expert in change management methodologies with previous insurance finance knowledge of Procurement / Finance teams working to support business decision-making? AXA UK are seeking a Change and Implementation Manager to come join us on a 12 month fixed term contract. Working within AXA UK’s Property, Procurement & Operations (PP&O) function, you’ll be responsible for overseeing the delivery of all agreed implementation activities aimed at optimising the performance and efficiency of the AXA UK Procurement team. This role presents a unique opportunity for an ambitious change professional to lead a transformative change programme. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) towards the end of 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the implementation of technological solutions across the end-to-end project lifecycle (Discovery to Go-Live / Hypercare) working alongside Group Procurement project teams, to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making processes.
- Ensure successful project implementation through effective change management (training, communication plans, impact assessment) for business-as-usual teams/stakeholders alongside minimising business disruption.
- Develop standard operating procedures including key artifacts such as TO-BE processes, RACI, RACM; collaborating with other AXA teams to ensure capturing of best practices and ongoing operational excellence.
- Identify and leverage digitalisation / artificial intelligence tools opportunities to extract maximum value from Procurement operations.
- Maintain agile planning to swiftly adapt to changes in business demands and project resources, including effective governance reporting to programme leadership.
- Take ownership of initiatives delivery through the creation and maintenance of delivery plans (incorporating benefits, costs and risks) aimed at optimising the performance and efficiency of the AXA UK Procurement team.
- Lead the prioritisation and sequencing of initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Management and implementation of change activities & deliverables including training, communication plans, delivery roadmaps and impact assessments.
What you’ll bring:
- Degree level or equivalent education with significant experience in working in a Procurement / Finance function in a commercial environment specifically within a Procurement / Finance change programme.
- Experience of working in large, federated organisations, operating ‘matrix management’ and agile delivery principles.
- Excellent communicator both orally and written, able to build and foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders, with strong influencing and persuasion skills.
- Good understanding of change management methodologies and implementation best practices, along with the ability to create and manage collaborative contribution.
- Proven ability to drive standards and provide challenge and improvement recommendations to ensure controls and standards are achieved.
- Ability to analyse a broad range of management information, identify recommendation actions and develop reports that drive improvements.
- Proactive and resilient, able to work flexibly and adjust personal scope as programme demands evolve.
- Agile environment, business organisational development, change business process analysis (ARIS) and agile project management (JIRA) tools experience is desirable. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
