During the festive season, our Christmas installations and seasonal displays take centre stage. We’re now looking for a Set Designer Account Manager with a passion for Christmas decorating and concept development to lead the charge on our most magical projects of the year.
The Role
This role is ideal for someone with a background in Christmas set design, seasonal concept creation, and project management. You’ll act as the vital link between clients and our internal teams, ensuring that festive installations are delivered with impact, creativity, and precision. From conceptualising enchanted winter wonderlands to managing timelines and budgets, you'll bring the festive season to life through outstanding design and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management:
- Be the main point of contact for clients commissioning festive displays, from retail environments to public spaces and events.
- Understand their vision and transform it into beautifully executed installations.
- Maintain client relationships through clear communication, timely updates, and exceptional service.
- Create picking lists and coordinate with production to ensure all festive props, décor, and lighting are prepared and delivered.
Project Management:
- Lead projects from initial concept through to on-site installation and takedown.
- Use tools such as Asana, Google Drive, and spreadsheets to manage schedules, resources, and logistics.
- Track budgets and timelines, ensuring each festive installation is delivered on time and to specification.
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors, particularly for seasonal materials and props.
Creative Design:
- Develop immersive Christmas concepts, whether it’s a traditional grotto, an interactive winter market, or a high-end luxury retail installation.
- Work with the internal design team to visualise ideas and present concepts to clients.
- Stay ahead of seasonal trends in décor, colour palettes, lighting, and materials.
- Assist with sourcing and styling everything from artificial snow and Christmas trees to bespoke props and festive signage.
What are we looking for:
- Festive Experience: Proven experience in designing, decorating, or managing Christmas-themed installations, events, or retail displays.
- Project Management: Ability to oversee complex seasonal projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Creative Skills: A strong eye for seasonal design and attention to detail. Bonus if you have proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, or AutoCAD.
- Tools Proficiency: Comfortable using Asana, Google Drive, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Organisation & Communication: Clear communicator, excellent organiser, and confident team leader.
- Hands-On: Willing to be on-site during installations, able to troubleshoot, and comfortable working to tight seasonal deadlines.
