Under the mentorship of seasoned Team Leads, you will immerse yourself in a variety of infrastructure-related tasks, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in both cloud and on-premises environments. This journey will not only enhance your technical skills but also foster continuous personal and professional growth.
As an apprentice, you will embark on a meticulously crafted development plan aimed at unlocking your full potential and transforming you into a confident and proficient engineer. Alongside this practical experience, you will pursue a BSc in Computing (Software Engineering) at the University of Wales Trinity St David's, Swansea campus through the Apprenticeship programme, ensuring a robust academic foundation to complement your on-the-job training. The fully funded degree course is taught on a day release on Mondays during Term time.

Act as the primary point of contact for service users, providing efficient and high-quality administrative support to the Core Services teams within the Cloud and Infrastructure department.
Assist the operational teams by delivering comprehensive operational infrastructure services, monitoring , and maintaining infrastructure systems as required .
Adopt a proactive approach to effectively support the infrastructure teams.
This position is fixed-term for 48 months.
Digital Health and Care Wales (DHCW) is an expert national body and part of NHS Wales.
