• Mon-Fri from 5.30pm – x1.5
• Sat AM – x1.5
• Sat PM – x2
• Sun All Day – x2
• Call out is 1 week in 10 at £150 retainer 4 hours paid if called out
• Excellent training available within leadership progression or to develop technically
• Person use of van

Here at ISS, as one of the UK's leading facilities management (FM) providers, we are looking to develop our engineering resource aligned against a number of key contracts within the region, by recruiting a Gas Engineer to cover the providing planned and reactive servicing & maintenance on commercial boilers within highstreet banks and government facilities.

The region you would be covering is Bristol, Gloucester, and Cheltenham areas

Here, using a company PDA, you will provide for commercial combustion, heating and HVAC bias PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are exceeded.

Working within a larger Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to develop and progress, within a truly major organisation within the built environment.

We can consider a strong Domestic Gas Engineer keen to progress to Commercial, or a more ready made Commercial Combustion Engineer.

Any further qualifications within AC/and or Electrical of course would be very advantageous

Actions will include:

• Responsibility for other types of building services maintenance to include fabric, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical and related tasks.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota.
• Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and storage areas.
• To undertake new installations, major and minor repair works to clients gas/heating systems.
• Diagnose and repair faults on systems and plant including basic electrical fault finding.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Issue of Permits to Work.
• Ensure that all gas/heating equipment within scope operates to specified performance criteria.
• Ensure equipment and surrounding area conforms to agreed company/industry standards.
• To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with H&S/Industry regulations, risk assessment, COSHH etc.

We need from you:

• Full commercial tickets and some clear experience.
• Either Domestic and Commercial tickets, or Domestic only with ambition and ability to obtain Commercial.
