Job Title: Commercial Manager

Reporting to: Commercial Director

Location: Luton (3 days per week)

A dynamic and growing organisation within the fast-paced consumer goods sector. Dedicated to delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to customers. We are now looking for a proactive and organised Commercial Manager to join our Commercial team and support our continued growth.


The Role:

We’re seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Commercial Account Manager to join our Luton-based team. This role is pivotal in managing key customer accounts, supporting commercial operations, coordinating marketing activities, and ensuring smooth communication across the business. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting customer-facing teams and ensuring the business delivers on retailer requirements throughout the year.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key retail accounts
  • Coordinate and respond to customer queries and requests, ensuring needs are met promptly
  • Produce regular and ad hoc customer reports and assist with project work
  • Act as cover for the Head of Commercial when required
  • Distribute essential customer information to internal teams
  • Visit retail stores weekly to produce competitor pricing and quality reports
  • Liaise with the order processing team regarding amendments and changes
  • Support the Accounts team with credit and debit note requests
  • Manage issues related to rejections, shortages, or over-deliveries
  • Prepare and distribute customer seasonal delivery packs (e.g., Christmas, Easter)
  • Attend and coordinate customer meetings and site visits
  • Oversee marketing initiatives and manage the Group’s social media presence


Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Confident engaging with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities
  • Proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • Comfortable handling ad hoc queries, including occasional weekend calls
  • A collaborative team player who builds strong relationships internally and externally
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
