The Opportunity
A well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Northampton is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ+ PQE) to join their growing Real Estate team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated lawyer looking to handle a broad range of high-quality commercial property work, with genuine career progression and flexibility through hybrid working.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of commercial property matters from instruction through to completion.
- Act on behalf of landlords, tenants, developers, and investors in:
- Acquisitions and disposals of freehold and leasehold property
- Drafting and negotiating leases, assignments, and renewals
- Development site purchases and plot sales
- Secured lending and refinancing transactions
- Option agreements and overage arrangements
- Conduct due diligence, review titles, and draft relevant property documents.
- Maintain excellent client care and develop long-term relationships with clients and referrers.
- Collaborate closely with partners and support junior team members.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) in commercial property law.
- Confident managing files independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client-handling skills.
- Proactive, organised, and commercially minded.
- Able to work effectively within a supportive team environment and hybrid setup.
