Do you have experience of working in or with Health and/or Social Care and would like to make a real difference to services and how support is delivered in Nottinghamshire? The Adult Social Care Strategic Commissioning Team is looking for a new Commissioning Officer to do just that.
In this role, you will work alongside operational teams and with people who draw on care and support services, to support a range of work. This will include services for deaf people and people with sight loss, managing contracts and developing partnership working. It will also include managing a framework contract for Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards assessments.
You will require good inter-personal skills, an interest in making a difference, analytical abilities and a high degree of respect for the people you work with and serve. You will also need confidence in using Microsoft Applications, including Excel, Word and Teams.
You are not expected to be an experienced commissioner, although should demonstrate some relevant work experience, which might include working on the delivery or arrangement of care and support services, and experience of delivering projects. You will be supported to learn in your role.
