  • Writing and editing content, advising on design, style and tone, and adhering to brand and accessibility standards at all times
  • Making sure all content is aligned to the bank-wide Corporate Affairs strategy
  • Identifying reputational risks in content and making sure they’re mitigated prior to publishing
  • Overseeing the news schedule as part of the wider content plan, including writing and publishing bank-wide news
  • Managing the bank’s content response to crisis communications needs as they arise

The skills you'll need

We’re looking for someone with exceptional editorial, written and planning skills, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a flexible pool of resources. You’ll also bring strong experience of developing, owning and maintaining strategic communication plans for a large organisation.

Alongside a proven track record of developing high quality content across range of channels and media, executing successful content and planning processes, you’ll need a keen eye for content and campaign excellence and experience of driving adherence to brand and accessibility standards.

You’ll also need:

  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to identify and tell stories that resonate with colleagues and customers
  • A collaborative approach to facilitate working in a complex organisation with multiple stakeholders
  • A digital-first mindset that embraces new technology, with experience of ensuring the adoption of new channels which drive productivity and performance in a large organisation
  • To be detail oriented and highly organised, with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced and changeable environment
  • Proven dynamic leadership skills, with a successful track record of managing people through change and building performance
