About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Paralegal to join our growing team in central Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop their legal career within a dynamic, supportive, and high-performing corporate practice.

The successful candidate will work closely with our solicitors and partners across a broad range of corporate matters, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to complex transactions. For high-performing candidates, a training contract will be offered within 6–12 months of employment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support lawyers with a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers & acquisitions, corporate restructures, private equity, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements.
• Draft, review, and maintain legal documents such as NDAs, board minutes, resolutions, Companies House filings, and transaction documents.
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or briefing notes for the team.
• Manage client onboarding processes, including conflict checks and KYC/AML documentation.
• Maintain and organise transaction files, data rooms, and document lists.
• Assist with due diligence exercises, coordinating information requests and compiling due diligence reports.
• Liaise with clients, external counsel, regulatory bodies, and internal departments as needed.
• Provide general administrative and project support to the corporate team.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Previous experience as a paralegal (ideally within corporate, commercial, or transactional law).
• Strong drafting, proofreading, and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong academic background (Law degree or equivalent required; LPC/SQE preparation is advantageous).
• Proactive, professional, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

• Experience with Companies House filings and corporate governance tasks.
• Exposure to M&A or private equity transactions.
• Familiarity with document management systems and data rooms.
