We are looking for a dispenser to join our friendly and experienced dispensary team at the Lydney Practice an Blakeney. The dispensary is an integral and valued part of the pharmacy team (including Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technician) & the wider practice team at Lydney & Blakeney. Our focus is to ensure that all medicines are dispensed in a safe and timely manner. We provide & ensure we maintain a high level of service to patients, Doctors, Nurses and other members of the Practice team.
The Care Quality Commission requires us to have a complete employment history from the age of 16, including explanations for any gaps in employment.
Hours per week: 28-37.5 hours per week
Closing date: 11 June 2026
To process prescriptions in accordance with the principles of good practice;
Dispensing and sale of prescriptions and medicines/appliances
Stock control, ordering and re-stocking of the dispensary
Checks and audit as required
Overview of your organisation
You will be required to be immunised in compliance with Green Book (link attached) and NHS recommendations for your role (unless medically exempt).
