Terumo Aortic are currently looking to recruit an Engineering Leader- Process Development to join the team. This role will ensure stable, effective, capable and well-documented manufacturing processes and continual improvement of product quality, sustained reductions in product cost. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference.
The main responsibilities of the role are;
- Analyse how processes affect overall production and find ways that these can be improved and developed to be more effective
- Manage teams monthly goals and objectives
- Supervise assigned team members to ensure individual allocated tasks are met within agreed timescales, allocating tasks to team members as appropriate
- Work collaboratively with engineers, operations and other internal staff
- 3rd party management, working with external partners and senior stakeholders when necessary
- Perform any other duties/ tasks/ projects as required by management
- Assume other responsibilities from time to time in order to support plant’s strategic plan and personal career plans
The successful candidate will possess;
- Degree or extensive relevant previous experience in a high quality manufacturing environment
- Supervisory experience and strong interpersonal, planning and organisational skills
- Experience of Lean manufacturing principles i.e. SMED, VM, 5S etc would be advantageous
- Strong computer skills and industry knowledge
- Understand stakeholder management at all levels
- Strong project management experience
- A willingness to accept responsibility and make decisions
