Role Details:

The role of Environmental Manager at Altrad is high-impact and multi-dimensional, nestled within a vital infrastructure programme linked to the nuclear industry. You’d be shaping sustainability, compliance, and environmental excellence across the entire project lifecycle — from design all the way to construction and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Environmental Management Systems
• Liaise with key stakeholders like government bodies and internal teams
• Oversee environmental compliance during pre-construction and construction
• Promote sustainability among Project Managers and contractors
• Conduct environmental audits and incident reporting

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 5+ years in environmental management, especially in civil works
• Familiarity with ISO14001, EIA, BREEAM, CEEQUAL, etc.
• Marine and terrestrial regulation expertise in Scotland
• Strong documentation and report writing skills
• Flexible, proactive, and professional with sharp communication

Bonus Points:

• Degree or chartered membership
• Experience in government environmental bodies or high-risk industries
• Training in SEAT/POEMS
