Event Sales Coordinator

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Events Sales Coordinator to join our team and take ownership of event sales and planning from initial enquiry through to delivery. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that combines proactive sales with full event coordination. You’ll work across a wide range of events including weddings, private celebrations, and corporate functions, ensuring a seamless experience for every client.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively sell and promote events through outreach, follow-ups, and relationship building
• Respond to enquiries, conduct site visits, and convert leads into confirmed bookings
• Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from start to finish
• Liaise with clients to schedule planning milestones and manage payment deadlines
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams to organise menus and produce detailed function sheets
• Be present on-site to oversee smooth event delivery, including running wedding ceremonies
• Maintain clear, accurate records and timelines using systems such as Reslynx and ResDiary (experience preferred)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in both event sales and full coordination, including weddings
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events
• Availability to work evenings and weekends is essential, especially during the busy summer season
• Experience with Reslynx and/or ResDiary is advantageous
• A client-focused, proactive approach and a passion for delivering outstanding events
• Driver's license
