Job Title: Executive Admin Assistant to Group CFO

Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly capable and proactive Executive Assistant to support a senior executive within a dynamic and international finance environment. This role offers the chance to work closely with the Group CFO and occasionally support other members of the executive team, including the Group CEO and Group COO.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the CFO’s office, managing communications, travel, and administrative tasks with professionalism and discretion.
Role Context:
The Group CFO is based in the UK, but the organisation operates extensively across Southern Africa, including countries such as South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Mauritius, and Kenya. The EA will need to be culturally aware and comfortable liaising with international teams and third parties, often outside standard UK business hours.
This position requires a confident, adaptable individual with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in executive support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to the Group CFO, including diary management, travel arrangements, and correspondence.
- Anticipate and coordinate complex international travel itineraries, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- Support the Group CEO and Group COO during UK visits, including administrative and travel-related tasks.
- Prepare documentation such as agendas, minutes, meeting notes, and reports.
- Organise and prioritise tasks, managing delegated projects and ensuring timely delivery.
- Coordinate executive meetings across multiple locations and ensure effective communication.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and post, responding or redirecting as appropriate.
- Greet and liaise with visitors, clients, suppliers, and staff at all levels.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times.
- Assist with administrative support for visiting senior management and occasional reception cover.
- Support the wider administrative team with ad hoc tasks as needed.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Degree educated or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar EA, Senior Administrator, or Office Manager role.
- Proven ability to support senior executives and manage confidential information.
- Strong understanding of business operations and executive-level requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience coordinating international travel and events.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage complex situations.
