About this role

Reporting to the Head of Finance and working closely with both Paris & UK finance, this role is key to ensuring all financial reporting aspects of different legal entities are reported accurately and in a timely manner.

Duties

• Oversight & ownership of the end-to-end financial reporting (processes and outputs) for different legal entities.
• Provide financial support to the business and help maintaining a strong financial control environment.
• Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts including income recognition, P&L, BS, Overheads, TB Review.
• Balance sheet account maintenance, including review and reconciliation within our internal & group reporting systems.
• Preparation of P&L, balance sheet & cashflow Forecast & Budget when required by the business.
• Prepare & review intercompany music royalty statements.
• Process sales invoices & chase debts.
• Work closely with the Banijay UK Head of Financial Control to assist with the external audit & statutory accounts when required.
• Work closely with the Tax team to prepare various tax schedules (corporate and VAT) to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with Paris central finance functions.

Essential Experience & Skills

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
• Proven experience as a Finance Manager within fast paced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting practices.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexibility and adaptable approach to work.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive and self-motivated.

Reporting to

Head of Finance.

Contract Type

Fixed-term (9-12 months), full-time.

Hours

Monday-Friday – 9:30am - 6pm.

Hybrid working (3 days per week in the office).
