Financial Controller | PE-Backed Growth Business | London Office-Based 3 Days Per Week
Join a fast-paced, Private Equity-backed business with an ambitious growth strategy. As part of an evolving finance function, we are seeking a Financial Controller to strengthen our reporting processes, lead core finance operations, and support strategic initiatives across the group.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a small team, drive process improvements, and work closely with senior leadership in a commercially focused, hands-on role.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver the monthly management pack, including full P&L and Balance Sheet
- Oversee AP/AR and credit control functions, ensuring accurate posting of accruals and prepayments
- Mentor and manage direct reports: Finance Manager and Credit Controller
- Review and maintain bad debt provisions
- Drive implementation of new finance processes and ensure compliance across departments
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and maintain the monthly group intercompany grid
- Support the Head of Finance with the annual audit, budget cycles, and ongoing business planning
Requirements:
- ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of month-end processes
- Prior experience leading or mentoring junior finance staff
- Detail-oriented with a proactive, process-improvement mindset
- Confident working cross-functionally and communicating with senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills
