We are looking for a Foreperson to join our Infrastructure team in Bedford.
What you'll do:
- Plan upcoming works and contribute to short-term programmes.
- Record daily progress and track planned vs actual output.
- Lead site safety briefings (shift start, RAMS, permits, Toolbox Talks).
- Prepare and review safe working methods; conduct safety reviews.
- Intervene to prevent unsafe acts; recognize positive safety actions.
- Ensure subcontractors follow approved safe systems of work (SSoW).
- Stop unsafe work or work without proper risk assessment.
- Raise plant/material requisitions; provide delivery documents for processing.
- Coordinate plant breakdowns and ensure safe fitter deployment.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Commit to continuous learning and development for yourself and others.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse backgrounds; promote inclusivity in work and projects.
- Maintain ethical transparency regarding safety, quality, and environmental performance.
- Hold formal safety training qualification (minimum SMSTS).
