We are Project Seagrass, a global charity working to save the worlds seagrass meadows. We're on a mission to lead societal change to enable the recognition, recovery, and resilience of seagrass ecosystems globallyecosystems that provide biodiversity, equitable and sustainable livelihoods, and planetary life support.
We lead, champion and communicate cutting-edge scientific research. We work with governments, NGOs, universities, businesses, communities and change makers to conduct participatory science and deliver collaborative action. We provide tailored support that is both adaptive and transformative to enable others to save the worlds seagrass, whether thats with capacity, engagement, learning or resources. To save the worlds seagrass, we need to have a collective passion and drive to understand seagrass and work to conserve it.

We are seeking a Fundraising and Partnerships Manager to strengthen and maximise income for Project Seagrass work through grants from trusts, foundations and large funding opportunities, and donations from businesses and regular individual givers. This person will be responsible for leading on, and developing Project Seagrass 2030 Fundraising Strategy, working closely with internal teams to support our programmes, our 10-year strategy and deliver lasting change for seagrass meadows globally.
As well as this, the Fundraising and Partnerships Manager will be responsible for:
- Assist with plans to bring in income to support our current programmes, liaising with Project Seagrass staff on applications, reports and claims.
- Researching, collating and analysing data that allows for the identification of income streams (e.g. government and other grants, corporate and individual donors, corporate sponsors, community engagement and events)
