Group FP&A Manager (6 month FTC)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Group-wide budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with divisional finance and operational teams.
• Develop and maintain integrated cashflow models, scenario analyses, and sensitivity testing to support strategic planning and liquidity management.
• Provide financial insight and modelling support to the carve-out process, including standalone cost base analysis, transition planning, and pro forma reporting.
• Partner with the CFO and business leaders on investment appraisal, M&A activity, and business case development.
• Build and refine financial models to support project evaluations, strategic decisions, and performance tracking.
• Standardise and enhance reporting packs for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of financial KPIs and trends.
• Work with external advisors, auditors, and consultants where required as part of ongoing transformation or transaction processes.
• Support continuous improvement across FP&A processes, including systems, data integrity, and automation.

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), ideally trained in a Deals / M&A / Transaction Services team in a Big 4 or leading practice.
• Proven experience in a senior FP&A role, ideally within a group or multi-entity environment.
• Strong cashflow forecasting and financial modelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience supporting or leading on business carve-outs, divestments or post-deal integration.
• Highly analytical, commercially astute, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
• Excellent Excel skills; experience with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive, Oracle, etc.) a plus.
