We are currently recruiting Health Records Clerk for 6.85 WTE. 37.5 hours per week to join the Health Records ServiceDepartment. The posts are permanent 12 months positions,workingpart-timeup tofull-time37.5 hours perweek. The department is open 7 days a week from 06.00 to 18.30. The hours of duty are flexible, with cover forlate shifts,weekendsand Bank Holidayson a rotational basis.
The roles are working across 4 sites within Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust. These include Library Warehouse,RussellsHall Hospital, Corbett Hospital and Guest Hospital.Those with a driving licence over the age of 21, will beadded to the driving rota for delivery of urgent and electivecasenotes. Avehicleis supplied for this purpose.
The candidatesare required tohave GCSE Maths and English Language GradeC (or equivalent). Previousclerical/admin experience is welcomed.Experience of using Microsoft IT systems, good organisationalskillsand the ability to work in a demanding/heavy liftingwarehouseenvironment are also essential criteria for thispost.
Health Records Clerk's role,providepatient casenotes forpatientsappointments within the Trust,including emergency and elective appointments.
Successful candidates will be trained in Medical Records mainwarehouselibrary,pickingand filingpatient case notes. Once fully trainedin in the warehouse tasks(approx. 6 months), training will be givenforreception deskdutieswithinthe Trust being first point of contact for patients when attending for their appointment, making sure all demographicdetailsare correct on the PAS system.
