Kirklees Council’s Housing Solutions Service delivers a range of services aimed at preventing and relieving homelessness for individuals and households across the district. The service adopts a person-centred, creative early intervention approach to solving housing problems.
Our Housing Solutions Officers work directly with customers face to face and over the phone to identify and assess their housing needs, provide information, advice, and support, and develop a range of solutions to help customers resolve their housing needs and problems. This requires working closely in partnership with a range of internal and external agencies.
We are looking for a highly motivated, self -sufficient, and organised Housing Solutions Officer (HSO) to work in the Advice and Assessment Team. The HSO role is challenging yet highly rewarding, playing an instrumental part in developing partnerships, delivering excellent service to meet the housing needs of vulnerable people with complex needs.
