Job title: HR Advisor – FTC

Salary: Circa £46,000 (dependent on skills and experience)
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide HR support in a fast-paced manufacturing, unionised, project-based organisation
- Providing operational advice and support on a range of people issues and most specifically around Organisational Design and Restructuring and organisational health
- Support the implementation and deployment of a key organisational design and restructure programme across the business including document management, query resolution, liaising with third party service providers and general administrative duties to support the Project
- Act as the first point of contact for the Project and coach line managers on their responsibilities
- Work closely with and provide support to HR Managers and report into the Head of HR
Essential
Your skills and experiences:
- Previous generalist HR advisory experience within a large organisation
- Experience of coaching an influencing line leaders
- Experience in Organisational design and restructuring including redundancy
- MS Office proficiency
Desirable
- Experience in partnering with business leaders to support the delivery of their people plans;
- Experience in supporting and coaching line manager on cyclical people management activities e.g. reward review, performance management, talent management

Naval Ships HR Team
You will be part of the Naval Ships HR team who support our Programmes and Functions and Projects. We are currently building 8 Type 26 frigates here in Glasgow and also have two international programmes in Australia and Canada. The team work very closely with their stakeholder areas in a fast paced and challenging environment focussed on delivery of a high-quality complex product to cost and schedule for our customers
We are currently reviewing our organisation design to ensure that we are fit for the future and you may have the opportunity to support the development of the overall plan and preparation for the implementation phase of this programme and then follow this through into deployment
