We’re looking for a Crew Initiative Manager to:
- drive the success of large, complex objectives by managing the day-to-day progress of multiple inter-linked initiatives and communicating effectively with different streams, crews and business sponsors
- manage initiatives, which includes planning, budget, execution, timing, quality, client satisfaction, and early identification of potential risk and issues, identify and manage clients, evaluate their interests, and establish effective communication channels ensuring effective management and engagement
- coordinate the tasks the crew has to deliver to a range of external (to the crew) clients, including both business and technology streams. This requires active management of an extremely large number of requirements and acting as a ‘quality gate’ to the agile prioritization process
- perform risk assessment, play an active role in risk mitigation and management, maintain, and monitor the crew level risk management plan and communicate regularly with the crew lead and the initiative management community to ensure full transparency and collaboration
- progress reporting materials and communication goals, provide milestone maintenance and tracking oversight and delivery of planned execution and reporting of milestones achieved as planned
- support the Crew Technical Lead, with crew coaching including scrum masters, chapter leads on agile principles, CI/CD, QA automation and continuous improvement culture
- act as a local and global deputy to the Crew Technical Lead
Your team
you’ll be working within the Core Platform Services Crew, which sits within the Digital Core Services stream (DCS). DCS provides a wide range of capabilities to the Asset Management business, including (but not limited to) – the central accounting book of record, trade processing, client and operational reporting.

Your expertise
- ideally 15+ years of experience in Technology project management, delivery, and execution
- experience of large complex project execution and delivery in an Asset Management / Wealth Management Division, Asset Manager, Investment Bank etc
- experience in project/ programme tooling to support plan generation and maintenance and working with solution delivery teams utilizing agile methodologies
- experience working with multi-location teams, multiple business partners and clients
- experience of managing and/or mentoring technical resources, including understanding career development and performance management within an agile organization
- experience in implementing large scale programmes using agile methods
- ability to build relationships across a global organization, provide good analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to work under pressure, hit deadlines and manage to a budget
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal – used to demonstrating empathic, tactful communication in stressful or emotionally charged environments
