Role OverviewWe are looking for an Internal Auditor to join our UK Internal Audit team for a 12-month maternity cover. Working across all areas of the business, you will be responsible for a wide range of financial and operational audits, process and control reviews as well as ad hoc projects and investigations. In your role you will contribute and improve business operations by bringing an objective, systematic and focused approach to the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes.

This is an exciting role for an Internal Auditor to work in a hugely respected multi national organization and with the opportunities to travel across Europe for audits.

At the start of the contract the plan will be to have a handover period with the current position holder and there will be support from the Internal Audit Manager throughout the contract.


How you will become part of the bigger picture..
You will be responsible for:

  • Undertaking operational and SOX compliance auditing across the Panasonic Europe Region
  • Recognising different culture and business practices in various locations and partner with the business process owners to recommended optimal business solutions to strengthen controls and increase efficiency
  • Reporting and present findings to Panasonic companies and HQ management
  • Suggesting improvements to controls and processes
  • Utilising data analytics across Panasonic Europe regional companies to assist in the audit process.
  • Ad-hoc audit projects as required

Experience, Knowledge and skills:

  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Demonstration of related accounting experience / accounting principles
  • Knowledge and experience of SOX compliance
  • A thorough grasp of auditing principles
  • Strong administration skills
  • Ability to work with data to identify trends, exceptions and anomalies (e.g. data analytics)
  • Continuously grow and focus on personal development using the Panasonic Leadership Principles

  • A self-starter – able to work both alone and as part of a team

Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant / Auditor – e.g. ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIA

What we offer:
Salary range: (dependent on experience)
Annual Bonus: 5% based on achievable company and individual objectives
Annual Leave:
25 days holiday plus bank holidays
Contract Type: 12 months - fixed term contract
Hours: 37.5 hours per week full-time
Location: Bracknell – (Please note that Travel will be required most months throughout the year (usually up to 1 trip per month)
Hybrid Working: expectation to attend the office at least 2 days per week
