Job Title: Lead Java Developer

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Alderley Park

Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based

We are seeking expertly skilled and experienced Lead Java Developers to play a lead role in building amazing digital solutions for our customers and business users. The team will be focussed on delivering a new state-of-the-art investments platform, an undertaking that is expected to take several years.

About you

Expert in enterprise Java development with Spring.
Expert in REST API microservice development and event streaming with Kafka.
Expert in persistence and caching layers, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
Expert in cloud hosting and containerisation platforms such as Kubernetes.
Expert in TDD and left-most automated testing.
Experienced in low latency, highly performant, optimised runtimes.
Experienced in agile development practices and the full software development lifecycle.
Thrives under little to no supervision.
An experienced development lead and mentor.
Continuously developing new skills, driving best practice and emerging technology adoption.
