We are working with a well-established and growing business who are looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant into their finance team.
This is a varied role offering exposure across month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting, business partnering, and process improvement. The position would suit someone who enjoys working within a collaborative environment and is keen to take ownership while supporting wider business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Production of monthly financial reporting and analysis
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning activities
- Business partnering with operational teams and department managers
- Assisting with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting audit preparation and statutory reporting requirements
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and financial controls
- Supporting transactional finance activities where required
- Assisting with VAT reporting and other compliance-related duties
- Involvement in ad-hoc finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or qualified by experince
- Previous experience within a management accounting or finance business partnering role
- Strong analytical and Excel skills
- Comfortable working with finance systems and large data sets
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business
- Proactive, organised and commercially minded approach
