In this role you will:
Serve as a technical advisor and coach to clients and team members
Advise clients on improving assurance capability e.g. controls testing
Understand and solve complex business problems and present back solutions to stakeholders
Write point of views on industry trends
Lead and support in development of sales proposals and offerings
Contribute assurance, risk and/or compliance SME knowledge to a wide range of both internal and external stakeholders
Coach our teams and develop their skills and knowledge
Contribute to the Risk practice community and build a network across Accenture & clients
Act with integrity (perform work with honesty, objectivity, diligence, and responsibility) and adhere to relevant code of ethics/values (at Accenture and client site)
Respect the confidentiality of information gained during the course of your work
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Bachelor’s degree or above (preferably in maths, economics, accounting, or relevant sciences)
Preferably part or fully ACCA/ACA/CCAB/IIA qualified or equivalent experience (5 – 8 years). Additional qualifications such as CISA are beneficial
Relevant financial services audit or assurance experience with strong knowledge of current internal audit practices and techniques
Proven experience to successfully lead an audit or assurance engagement, managing multiple deliverables within a pressurised environment
Strong understanding of front to back risks, processes and controls including the distinction between them
Demonstrable project management and project delivery experience
Working in a team setting to tight and agile deadlines
Experience managing medium to large teams, experience of managing remote teams is beneficial
Strong MS office skills specifically in PowerPoint & Excel
Strong stakeholder management skills with excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
Commercial awareness to lead commercial engagements and spot market opportunities
Ability to work across both Technology and Business stakeholders
