Manufacturing Engineer

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. The role will be a standard day shift role, but candidates need to be available outside these hours, should an issue arise.

You will be involved in developing working methods for assembly, developing modern production engineering techniques as well as ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and in place. As part of the Manufacturing Engineering team, you will be responsible for the effectiveness, quality and cost of all objectives set from Management as well as reporting of KPI’s. Your role will also be supporting Maintenance when required as well as working with other Departments.

Candidates must be competent in their PC skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD would also be ideal. A knowledge of conventional machining capabilities and limitations in addition to practical experience of the layout of facilities and ergonomics would be advantageous. It would be desirable should the candidate be qualified to a minimum of a BTEC/HNC Level in a relevant field.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to handle a pressured work environment, be able to give direction to others, as well as being able to communicate in a clear and articulate manner across all levels of the business and be organised and efficient in their daily work.
