Your Role
You’ll join the London Team, led by Partner Richard Kayser, who has a wealth of experience in helping clients who have suffered life changing and catastrophic injuries as a consequence of Medical Negligence, representing both adults and children.
Richard and his team represent people and their families who have suffered injury, particularly major spinal cord injury and brain damage. The team handles a variety of catastrophic injury cases including birth injury, brain injury, spinal cases, meningitis and encephalitis, delayed cancer diagnosis and fatal cases with a specialism in maternal death cases. Team members have been involved in inquests and work with hospitals and medical conferences to speak publicly about improving patient safety and medical treatment.
The role will be working alongside Sarah Jones, an experienced Senior Associate in Richard’s team. Sarah has a wealth of experience in running both adult and child brain injury cases. Your role will consist of assisting Sarah along with the wider team with the progression of these high value complex cases.
You’ll provide quality legal advice to the firm’s clients and will be managing your own caseload from the outset whilst also assisting Richard Kayser and other senior members of the team on high value complex cases.
Your aim will be to resolve liability as soon as possible and obtain interim payments wherever possible, so that we can put rehabilitation, a care package, therapy and suitable accommodation (where relevant) in place well before the claim is concluded. As a team, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life of our clients.
