Bank Mental Health Support Worker
Location: Park Place & Millcroft - Seacroft, Leeds
Service Type: Supported Living Service & Step-Down Residential Rehabilitation Service
Contract Type: Bank (0-hour contract) - flexible hours to suit you
Pay Rate: £14.12 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
- Basic hourly rate: £12.60
- Holiday pay: £1.52 (12.07% holiday uplift)
About The Role
Active Pathways is currently seeking dedicated Bank Support Workers to work across Park Place (Supported Living Service) and Millcroft (Step-Down Residential Rehabilitation Service) in Seacroft, Leeds. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining high standards of care by covering staff holidays, absences, or periods of increased service demand - helping to ensure continuity and consistency for our residents.

As a Support Worker, you will:
- Provide person-centred care in a recovery-focused rehabilitation setting.
- Support residents in developing independent living skills and achieving their goals.
- Assist with daily tasks, including accessing the community, education, or employment.
- Encourage participation in meaningful activities and promote social inclusion.
- Offer emotional and practical support to enhance confidence and independence.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships.

Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in mental health or rehabilitation settings is desirable
- Strong understanding of person-centred care and challenging behaviours
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Confident managing lone working scenarios with resilience and initiative
