The Office Manager will have an opportunity to oversee the daily operations of an office, ensuring administrative tasks are completed efficiently, manage office supplies, and support team productivity through organisation and problem-solving.
What you’ll do
The Office Manager will be involved in the following activities:
· Sole responsibility for the professional, uninterrupted and smooth office management
· Office supply & stationery management
· Liaising with external parties i.e. various contractors, cleaners, building security/reception/other engineers, internal IT team for wider tech issues
· Accountability for health & safety
· Line management of the future junior resource responsible for office administration and team support and overseeing their tasks
· Special projects including office relocation
· Until the junior resource is recruited, and during their absence, the Office Manager would be accountable for assuming their tasks to support the team and smooth daily office operations and greeting visitors
What you’ll bring
· Ideally educated to degree level or similar
· Min 5 years’ experience supporting a team within a corporate environment
· Proficient in Microsoft office – excel, power point and word
· A reliable team member with a pro-active ‘can do’ attitude and a strong work ethic
· Enthusiastic, client and team centric personality
· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels both internally and externally
· A professional manner and personal presentation
· Organised and methodical with the ability to multi-task efficiently under pressure
· Attention to detail
· Self-motivated, creative and able to use initiative and comfortable to be based in the office full time
