What You Will Do
- Cultivate strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and various business areas to identify, define and implement process improvements and simplifications
- Deliver rapid improvements that embed operational excellence practices across the organisation enhancing the experiences of both our customers and colleagues
- Define, implement, measure, and refine work processes that drive exceptional customer experiences, operational efficiency, and performance enhancement
- Empower colleagues to identify and implement inventive solutions to business challenges by fostering a culture of innovation and creativity
- Review end to end processes through the lens of the business, customers, and other key stakeholders, focusing on simplification and reorganisation to achieve meaningful results
- Focus on process improvement techniques and actively share insights across the organisation to foster an environment of continuous improvement throughout the business

What You Will Need
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement frameworks
- Deep knowledge of operational excellence practices, including daily management systems, standard work, KPIs, and performance routines
- Demonstrable experience implementing and embedding management practices across departments
- Familiarity with Lean Management Systems and continuous improvement ecosystems
- Strong understanding of operational diagnostics, root cause analysis, and structured problem solving
- Proven experience driving cultural adoption of continuous improvement
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, Metro Bank and all our stakeholders
