Loch Duart, Scotland’s premier producer of farm-raised salmon, is seeking an experienced and driven Operations Manager to lead our processing plant in Dingwall. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the highest quality standards, and leading a culture of continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all processing plant operations.
• Drive performance across production, engineering, technical, and compliance functions.
• Ensure achievement of efficiency, yield, and quality targets.
• Lead and develop a team of managers, supervisors, and line staff.
• Champion a performance-led, safe, and inclusive culture.
• Maintain full compliance with food safety and customer standards (e.g. HACCP, BRCGS).
• Align capital investments with production needs.
• Identify and implement improvements in cost, productivity, and process.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in a senior operations or manufacturing leadership role (preferably food processing).
• Strong understanding of food safety, technical compliance, and engineering systems.
• Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• A track record of driving efficiency, quality, and results.
• Comfortable making decisions in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
