Alongside day-to-day artwork responsibilities, you will also help develop packaging systems, templates and brand guidelines to improve consistency and elevate the overall presentation of our brands.

  • Accurately apply safety information, legal copy, warning symbols, barcodes, item codes and product specifications to packaging artwork
  • Create or adapt supplied screenprint drawings and apply product functions, branding and safety information
  • Check and proof artwork thoroughly before release to print or suppliers

  • Artwork Management & Systems

    • Upload and maintain packaging and label artwork files within the internal CRM system
    • Organise and manage artwork files on the main server, ensuring all revisions, updates and approvals are accurately logged
    • Maintain version control and archive systems for all packaging artwork, and ensure all artwork assets are stored in a consistent and accessible structure
    • Support workflow improvements and help streamline packaging production processes

    Packaging Design & Brand Development

    • Redesign and refresh packaging across product ranges to improve shelf presence, strengthen brand identity and differentiate product offerings
    • Develop creative packaging concepts and visual directions for new and existing product ranges
    • Create and maintain packaging design systems, templates and artwork guidelines to ensure consistency across all brands
    • Develop and manage brand packaging guidelines covering typography, colour palettes, layouts, icons, imagery and design standards
    • Collaborate with the wider design and product teams to ensure packaging aligns with overall brand strategy and commercial objectives

    Catalogue & Marketing Support

    • Build catalogue pages using established grid layouts and templates
    • Support the wider marketing and design team with product-related graphic assets where required
    • Assist with instruction sheets, labels, product graphics and related marketing collateral

    Skills & Experience Required

    • Proven commercial experience in packaging design and artwork production
    • Strong Adobe Illustrator skills and excellent vector artwork ability
    • Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and InDesign
    • Experience working with CAD-generated dielines and cutter guides
    • Good understanding of print production processes including CMYK and Pantone colours, Spot UV, embossing, print finishes and packaging specifications
    • Confidence using Adobe Photoshop to create accurate clipping paths and high-quality cut-outs from product photography for packaging, catalogue and marketing use
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
    • Strong organisational and file management skills
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
    • Professional and proactive approach to work
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    What We’re Looking For
