About the Role

Private Client Solicitor – Sunderland Office. Flexible working available – partial home working and flexible start times can be accommodated to support work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Minimum one year of private client experience managing your own files.
• Candidates from early-career to experienced practitioners, including those seeking partnership-level responsibility, are encouraged to apply.
• You will work with a strong, highly regarded team handling Wills, Probate, Court of Protection, Lasting Powers of Attorney, contested estates, and the management of client affairs.
• High-quality work is prioritised over volume, allowing fee earners to command competitive rates and focus on client service rather than administrative burden.
• Realistic billing targets are set and monitored against financial KPIs, rather than stressful six-minute time sheets.
• A supportive environment without the rigid hierarchy of larger firms, giving you direct access to interesting and complex matters.
• Opportunities to maintain and develop skills in other practice areas if desired, including family, conveyancing, employment law, or other legal disciplines.

Qualifications
