Job: Real Estate Disputes Solicitor

Location: London

Hybrid: Yes

I’m working with a highly respected firm that is currently looking to appoint a full-time, permanent Solicitor (5–6 years PQE) to join their Real Estate Disputes team. This is a hybrid role offering an excellent mix of autonomy, high-quality work, and a genuinely flexible, supportive environment.

My client is seeking someone with strong experience advising both residential and commercial landlords and tenants across a broad range of matters, including:

Breach of covenant (e.g., assignments, underletting, alterations, or landlord failures under lease obligations)
Commercial landlord and tenant work: break notices, dilapidations, rent reviews, forfeiture, surrender, etc.
Business lease renewals
Possession proceedings
Trespass and squatter matters
Adverse possession claims
Nuisance disputes
Easements and prescriptive rights
Service charge disputes and consultation requirements
TOLATA claims
Rights to light claims

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and manage a varied caseload without supervision.

Some exposure to business development would be beneficial, and having an existing referral network would be an advantage.
