Recruitment Coordinator – 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Rotherham (initially office-based, transitioning to hybrid)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary: £26,000
About The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised
Recruitment Coordinator to join our fast-paced team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Based in Rotherham, you will support ALS a leading life sciences company, playing a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your contribution will directly impact talent acquisition across a wide range of functions and early careers programmes.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Managing diaries and coordinating interviews, assessments, and hiring activities
- Conducting pre-screening calls for entry-level roles
- Maintaining and updating talent pools and recruitment trackers
- Supporting hiring managers with recruitment administration and communications
- Liaising with external job boards, recruitment vendors, and other suppliers
- Coordinating and supporting apprenticeship, internship, and work placement schemes
- Drafting and posting job adverts and assisting with candidate shortlisting
- Ensuring all recruitment documentation is compliant and up to date
- Providing general administrative support to the wider HR and Talent Acquisition team
Essential Criteria
- Previous experience in a recruitment coordination or similar administrative HR role
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment platforms
- Professional, proactive, and team-oriented approach
- Flexible to work onsite initially, with a transition to hybrid working
