📌 Position: Salesperson– Forklift & Material Handling Equipment
🎯 The Role – Area Salesperson
We’re on the lookout for an energetic and experienced Area Salesperson to join our team and take ownership of a designated region. You’ll be the face of PHL in your patch—developing new relationships, growing existing accounts, and ultimately driving forklift sales (new and used) to meet and exceed monthly targets.
Your territory will primarily focus on SMEs and regional operators, where you’ll have the freedom to tailor solutions, bring value, and build long-term partnerships.
· Proactively source and convert new business opportunities within your area.
· Build and maintain strong customer relationships, becoming their trusted go-to.
· Promote our range of forklifts and warehouse equipment, identifying bespoke solutions.
· Work closely with our internal sales and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
· Meet or exceed agreed sales targets in both unit numbers and gross margin.
· Keep an eye on competitor activity and feedback market intel.

You will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with small to medium-sized businesses, identifying sales opportunities, and delivering tailored forklift and warehouse equipment solutions from our extensive product range – including EP, Linde, Komatsu and more.
Skills and Experience – Area Salesperson- Materials Handling
- Proven experience in materials handling or related capital equipment sales (e.g., plant, agricultural, or commercial vehicles)
- Strong track record in new business development and territory management
- Ability to understand customer requirements and offer bespoke solutions
- Confident communicator with excellent relationship-building skills
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and driven to exceed sales targets
- Commercial awareness with a focus on margin, customer satisfaction, and aftersales support
