Senior Category Manager

The Opportunity:-

My market leading client, who are going through a significant transformation, are currently recruiting for a Senior Category Manager (Business Services). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative category strategies, procurement pipeline development, tendering / sourcing and post-contract advisory. There will also be significant stakeholder engagement and this opportunity will have line management responsibility.

Key Candidate Criteria:-

• Category management / procurement experience gained within either a Public Sector or regulated environment.
• Experience of indirect services / goods spend areas, which could include IT, Marketing, Catering, Occupational Health etc.
• Pro-active / solution focussed approach, with the ability to work at pace with high volumes.
• Great stakeholder relationship engagement skill / business partnering approach.
• Line management / mentoring experience (desirable)
