The role
This business-critical role manages content, merchandising and trouble-shooting for our customer websites and app, working as part of a digital team who focus on analytics and data which informs the website strategy to support driving revenue growth and delivering competitive advantage for Global Partnerships and ITV Studios.
Main responsibilities
Content Management & Curation
Catalogue Website Management: Manages the curation of our catalogue website and our app across all touchpoints. Builds, updates, and verifies pages to ensure all content is merchandised to its full potential — from creative look and feel through to accurate sales copy and metadata. Ensures timely publishing of programme data from the internal GP ContentHub and maintains a site experience that is always fresh, on-brand, and audience-ready.
- Content Planning & Promotion: Collaborates with ITV Studios content Marketing teams to plan and schedule monthly promotional activity across drama, non-scripted, and format genres. Selects, curates and updates banners, icons, and feature placements to reflect current priorities.
- Show Page Merchandising: Supports content teams in merchandising priority show pages — ensuring visual assets, copy, and technical data come together to deliver high-impact, high-quality programme showcases for both new and catalogue titles.
- Programme Collection Launches: Leads on the build and go-live of curated programme Collections. Partners with content Marketing executives to develop creative promotional assets and reports on the performance of collections post-launch.
- Website Content Governance: Maintains all sections of the catalogue website, the brand website and and the app, ensuring they remain current, accurate, and reflective of brand positioning.
- Project & Stakeholder Support: Handles internal queries, supports cross-functional collaboration, and ensures stakeholders and Sales teams are kept informed of progress and issue resolution.
- Website Steering Committee Participation: Participates in the monthly website Steerco meeting, contributing ideas to grow, evolve, and enhance the performance of our digital products.
- Digital Operations Oversight: Manages the shared mailbox and troubleshoots identified issues, ensuring timely responses and clear communication with relevant teams.
- Content Quality Assurance & Testing: Oversees content accuracy, consistency, and quality before go-live. Tests new website features and collaborates with Product and Tech teams to resolve bugs, ensuring an optimal user experience.
Experimentation and Testing
- Supports user research initiatives, including user interviews and usability testing, to uncover pain points and identify opportunities for enhancement across ITV Studios’ digital products.
- Tests and validates new features prior to launch, ensuring they meet user needs and functional requirements.
- Actively contributes to experimentation and iteration efforts — exploring ways to refine existing features or introduce new ones that enhance the overall digital experience.
Reporting and Analysis
- Tracks and reports on analytics for our digital products on a regular basis as directed.
- Supports the team to analyse data and develop insights and learnings.
UX Design
- Creates and refines wireframes and prototypes based on internal feedback and user insights.
- Embeds UX thinking from the start of product development, turning ideas into effective, user-centered solutions.
- Assists with planning, running, and analysing market and user research.
- Helps build and maintain a consistent design system across platforms.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Website Management: Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) and basic web technologies to build, update, and verify web pages and app content, ideally within a media, entertainment, or content-led environment.
- Experience supporting user research and usability testing, with a focus on continuous improvement and enhancing digital experiences.
- Strong background in digital merchandising, with the ability to showcase content effectively using visual assets, metadata, and promotional placements.
- UX experience preferred.
