Join our Wider Determinants of Health Unit
Are you passionate about creating a healthier Wales and reducing health inequalities? Do you want to shape initiatives and policies that will improve lives across Wales for generations to come?
We're seeking a dynamic senior public health practitioner to join our team and drive meaningful change through evidence informed action.
What You'll Do
You'll be at the heart of work that seeks to address the root causes of health inequalities in Wales. Working collaboratively with teams in Public Health Wales and across sectors, you'll contribute to developing and delivering on several programme areas including:
- Fair work initiatives that promote healthier working conditions
- Addressing economic inactivity challenges that affect individual and community health and well-being
- Evidence-based resources that support public bodies to strengthen action on the wider determinants of health
Your analytical skills and creative thinking will directly contribute to Public Health Wales seven Strategic Plan priorities, helping us build a healthier, more equitable Wales.
