This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a competitive salary of £47,831 - £52,414 per annum (dependent on experience) , plus an annual retention bonus of £3,000 subject to eligibility.

The Role
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality adult social care services while supporting the development of others within the team.
You will manage a complex caseload, provide professional leadership, and contribute to embedding strengths-based practice across the service. You will also support colleagues through supervision and informal coaching, helping to build confidence and capability within a developing team.
Your Role Will Involve
- Managing a caseload of complex assessments, safeguarding enquiries, and care planning in line with the Care Act and other relevant legislation.
- Supporting and supervising colleagues, including offering guidance on complex casework and decision-making.
- Leading and contributing to multi-agency meetings, including safeguarding, best interest, and risk management forums.
- Promoting and embedding a strengths-based, person-centred approach to practice.
- Contributing to service development, performance, and continuous improvement within a newly re-integrated team.
What We Are Looking For
- A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Significant post-qualification experience in adult social care, including complex case management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation including the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Experience of supporting others, supervision, or informal mentoring within a team.
- A commitment to strengths-based practice, with the ability to work collaboratively with individuals, families, and partner agencies.
- A commitment to PEPS - AMHP- BIA.
